Prof Dr.-Ing. Peter Gschwendner. Using the Global Positioning System (GPS), a common GPS-receiver detects continuously position, speed and heading of the aircraft. Considering this data and the requested bait density, a control unit synchronises the cycle of the mechanic bait dropping device. The final result is a total even distribution of the baits within the treated area. Each single drop out is being documented by date, time and position and being stored in the control unit.
