Briana, Taylor, Alexis, Joshua, Anthony, Julian, Jiliana. Saturday, May 8, 2010. The wait is over. Well after weeks of waiting -we found out two weeks ago that Steven did NOT make it into TBL10. I was so bummed for a few days but then realized that perhaps God had a better plan for him then to be gone all summer long. We are looking for some thing more family oriented and parent directed so I am hoping God leads us to a good fit for our "unique" family! Have a blessed day! Http:/ www.twinslaw.com.

Navigating through an Autoimmune World. Question for you all…. After being on prednisone for so many months, I noticed a spot near the top of my hair line that seemed to be thinning out. It is worse on the left side than the right. Do you guys think it is from prolonged Prednisone use or from Plaquenil? But you don't look sick. I know… it’s been forever. I’m awful! I have been google-ing, but have yet to figure it out. I am thinking I will just try to call the eye doctor tomorrow and see what they say.

My battle with cancer was one that defined the person I am today and from firsthand experience I know what it’s like to struggle with self esteem issues and embarrassment over scarring. As a 10 year melanoma survivor, I want to change how people view scarring and increase awareness about skin cancer. The mission of Surviving Skin is to educate and inform young men and women about the dangers of sun exposure and to raise awareness in general about this ever increasing problem.
