Friday, July 4, 2014. Stars and Stripes Forever. I love Independence Day. I'm proud to be a citizen of the USA. I try to stay informed and make good choices. I'm a firm believer that America. Is exceptional - that we are a free nation based on democratic ideals and liberty. Our Declaration of Independence was (and is, still) an inspired document. Seeing our flag fly always makes me proud. So does patriotic music. This is only one of my favorites:. How can you not love blue plates? That blue is heavenly.

D.C. Awesomeness
Saturday, June 4, 2011. I know I haven't updated in a while, I've been kind of busy. So I will break this down into days. Day I have had all week. I went to the CRC for a security presentation and then headed back to the museum to have lunch in the cafe with another intern Lidnesy. I then spent the rest of the day with Visitor's Services to learn how they run the welcome desk and the theator they have. Then I went back to the dorm, and my roommate Avrely came and talked with me for a bit. I am so tired!
