A Canadian Cook with Spanish Flavor: November 2011
http://canadiancookwithspanishflavor.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
A Canadian Cook with Spanish Flavor. Thursday, 24 November 2011. Broken eggs. Well, the Spaniard are quite simple when they name a dish. This is one of David's favorite. Truth be told, which guy wouldn't like fries with spanish ham and eggs? This is such a simple meal yet it can be found on almost any menu in any variation. Anything can be added to this and it would still taste great :). Huevos de Codorniz Rotos. Ingredients (for one portion):. 2 slices jamon serrano. Peel, wash and slice the potatoes.

A Canadian Cook with Spanish Flavor. Tuesday, 20 March 2012. A Little Piece of Canadian Heaven. As some of us Canadians miss our national roots, here is a little piece of our Canadian heritage :) Tire d'érable / Maple Taffy :). Maple Taffy, for the non canadian ones reading my blog, is boiled maple syrup until it reaches a caramel texture. It is then served on snow and using a wooden stick rolled in order to make a lollipop. Here is a picture of my mother actually in a maple grove. 1L of maple syrup.

A Canadian Cook with Spanish Flavor: Club Sandwich anyone?
http://canadiancookwithspanishflavor.blogspot.com/2013/12/club-sandwich-anyone.html
A Canadian Cook with Spanish Flavor. Sunday, 29 December 2013. Many American restaurants here offer some of the typical dishes found in diners back home. Yet, their Club Sandwich is never the same recipe as we are used to: they had eggs or include other sauces. I had never made homemade club sandwich as it wasn't something I would ever think about making. But, let's face it, there is nothing like a good club sandwich! So for those craving the recipe, here it is:. 3 slices of bread. Toast the bread slices.
