December 20, 2015. December 20, 2015. When I was born, I came alone. No wealth, no clothes, no friends, no home. Then, God gave me a home and people to love. What else could I ever need? A fancy wardrobe, shoes, a good reputation and a job. Do I really need that? Yes you do, says a person I don’t know. What to do, how to act, how to look, what to expect. Be pretty, look sexy, follow the rules. I will not be remembered by the brand of jeans I bought. Or my net worth, or my bank account, or my credit score.
