I can hardly talk about my journalism major without someone asking “Are you sure you want to go into that? Isn’t it a dying industry? From the New York Times briefly touches on some of these issues, but more importantly: look at the comments. I understand the temptation and even the value of noting blog trends; however, they hardly count as sources until they can be connected with a name.
