Susan's Poetry Space: November 2013

http://susanjanesimspoetryspace.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 27 November 2013. My name was desert. Only spiky cacti grew in my barren landscape. Today I’m dank, dark earth, with the promise. Of tulips in a myriad of colours. Sometimes in my nightmares. I’m the white faced clown. I’m the girl on the flying trapeze. From Irene's Daughter,. Poetry Space Ltd 2010. With thanks to Susan G Wooldridge for the above writing idea from Poem Crazy: freeing your life with words. Three Rivers Press 1996. I came across Poem Crazy. Wednesday, 20 November 2013.

Susan's Poetry Space: Last Meal

http://susanjanesimspoetryspace.blogspot.com/2014/09/last-meal.html

Thursday, 25 September 2014. I keep wondering what meal. Is gonna be your last,Dad.,. Today it's cauliflower cheese,. Susie's special with broccoli and egg,. Soya milk, herbs. I've boiled and melted, stirred. And baked while you, tipped back. In your big old chair, slept, open mouthed. Brown blanket keeping in warmth. The dish is out of the oven now. Bubbling like a living thing. In its white ceramic shell,. And I know that if this meal's. The last you have. You'll suck your lips,. 169; Susan Jane Sims.

Wednesday, 22 January 2014. We’d go and play bat and ball at the park. We were all set two bats and a ball in a bag. And a bottle of made up orange then jill and her mum came. And i cried still wanted to go to the park still wanted to play. Bat and ball with mum. We all went four of us it felt okay sort of. Batted words back and forth with jill’s mum. I played with jill drank squash it felt okay sort of. I don’t remember playing bat and ball. Poetry Space Ltd. 2010. Thursday, 2 January 2014. Lewises refe...

Susan's Poetry Space: Stone,

http://susanjanesimspoetryspace.blogspot.com/2014/04/stone.html

Tuesday, 15 April 2014. A heart becomes,. To head off hurt that picks away at skin. We turn stones and send life scurrying,. Up, down, through a mountain. The voice cries, open sesame. We gather stone upon stone upon sparkly stone. To fill our arms. The hole we leave, as wide. And scorched as grief. This is a very recent poem and written in response to a prompt on the Blog 52 hosted by Jo Bell. The prompt was to choose a word from a given list and write an Assay poem. Lørdag den 15. august 2015. Art Journal Journey - Time. It is incredible with time, child born, growing up and marriage - how time flies and when I think back on my wedding day, I think it was just yesterday, now there are flown 35 years;-). My journal is being filled up soon, there are only a few pages left and it's time to start another one. It's good that AJJ exist, and I can have the pleasure to take part in this challenge. Thank you for your visit and you may have a good weekend. Here is my post # 2.
