Saturday, January 31, 2009. Months after first hearing about this, I'm pretty sure I'm finally at liberty to share. Currently, I'm the only native English teacher at my school.this is somewhat unusual. Well, in one month we will be getting a NEW TEACHER! Not my replacement, just a second teacher. Amazingly, this teacher will be none other than the very talented, very lovely Stacey Garcia (Chelley's big sis). I'm so happy and so lucky. Stacey, I cannot wait! Aw Suze I am soooo happy to be coming!

Tsukiji Market has a reputation for being quite dangerous and rightly so! Tomorrow I leave for Hiroshima! I'm really excited about this, it will be the farthest from Tokyo I've gone since coming to Japan and I'm traveling alone so it should be an adventure! I'll let you know how it goes when I get back! Friday, September 26, 2008. A weekend in the country. Signifying that one of them had finally pierced the melon. After heading back we headed to bed. There were 6 girls and 3 guys on the trip so the girls slept upstairs in the beds and the guys slept downstairs on futons. This separation resulted in endless girl talk and I felt like I was 12 years old again at a sleepover party, it was a lot of fun. On a bridge in Okutama. Dressed up for the matsuri (last post).
