A cyber journal of sorts. For the most part, I am a very level-headed, non-airy-fairy kind of girl. I like practical. I like logical. I like relevant. And for the longest time this is how I lived my life. Practically, logically, relevantly. Which is all good and proper, I suppose. I did the right things. Made the right decisions. Followed the obvious paths as they came up before me. At first this road looks pretty straightforward, pretty smooth and even. So off I go! This is what I do! I chose the dream.

Thursday, April 9, 2009. Your Cat Ate My Pet Fish! Oh my word, the horror! I am extremely embarassed. My neighbour knocked on my door this morning. An acquaintance, rather than a friend. I mean, our kids have played together once or twice, but that's about it. She seemed hesitant and asked, pointing to Merlot, if that's our only cat.
