1 Can I bring treats for my child's birthday? Yes, however all treats will be distributed after lunch, either in the classroom or on the playground. What kind of treats may I bring for my child's birthday? AISD'S policy states that all snacks/birthday treats be healthy foods. 2 How can I help my child in reading? 3 What if I have to drop something off for my child? Please drop off items in the office. The office will then notify the classroom. 4 What if I have to get a message to my child?

September 12, 2013. We are now getting used to the routine of second grade. I have already seen great gains in the students and their sense of responsibility. Bravo! In Language Arts, we will be learning how to write super sentences and realistic fiction stories. The kids will begin writing their own very soon. In Math, we are reviewing different addition and subtraction strategies, as well as place value up to 100. Next week we will begin our unit on Matter in Science. Create a free website.
