Monday, April 23, 2012. Where to begin …? Last Tuesday, Susan fell in her bathroom. Thank goodness she was not hurt, but was terribly frightened and very annoyed. I got her up and called the doctor, because to be quite honest I was scared silly. I found myself in a position where I had no idea how to deal with the situation. They don’t mess around here at Life Care. When I arrived yesterday [Sunday] she was already in therapy. She had PT and ST. Today she had PT and a visit from the OT ...I'm sitting wit...

Tuesday, September 27, 2011. We thought It was a good Idea at the time. By 3:30 we were on our way home. We did go out to dinner, and I did have that glass of wine, but I was too exhausted to enjoy either. So what did we learn from the day's experience? Friday, November 18, 2011. If it's not one thing, it's something else. Last Monday Gerry and I went to Dana Farber. It was a typical Farber day: blood work, lunch, MRI, lung cancer support group, appointment with Dr. Weiss. Put on the roller skates. None of these things were close to each other!
