Susan's view on being Mayor of Gering, NE and Marketing Director for Panhandle Coop Association in Scottsbluff, NE. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Wow, What a Cleanup! The 2nd free landfill for the cities of Gering, Scottsbluff and Mitchell ended on April 25th. The numbers are in and considering the rainy conditions on both Saturdays, they are quite impressive. In 12 days there were a total of 982 loads taken to the landfill (Averaging 82 loads/day). 350 gallons of oil. 26727 tons of trash or 534,540lbs.
