The lighting in the basilica is quite beautiful, especially the sun streaming through the stained glass windows reflecting on the walls of the nave. Big business in water and candles. Have heard there are ugly fight scenes in summer of people shoving others away from taps to fill their vessels. Image mid right shows one lonely man filling two 5 gallon containers. Feb 24, 2014 at 2:37pm. Robert in his first bike race. Cost 20€ to enter and came with pre race meal, post race meal and wine and a bottle of red for entering. I ate as well, which was good because I walked for 4 hours following race and was famished when I arrived at finish.
