Friday, December 21, 2012. Talking to my past self. A few days ago, I was watching tv. or reading an article. maybe it was a commercial? About going back in time and giving advice to your younger self. So then I started thinking about what I would tell myself. I've certainly made my fair share of mistakes, and experienced plenty of pain, wouldn't it be great if I could avoid all that? If I could prepare myself for Aiden's death? Would I know what I do? Would I be the same person? I have plenty to do!

Thursday, January 19, 2012. Music and First Impressions. I know it's been ages since I've posted, but tonight I've been thinking about something that is too long for facebook. Shocking, I know, that facebook may not always be the best way to communicate every thought. Or whenever, at least one of the cats will be curled up in Joe's lap. And every single time, it reminds me of that line from the George Strait song- "She thinks I'm perfect and that I love her cat, but you know me better than that!

After driving 9 hrs today , (actually Denver drove most of it, did really good) from Medford, Or to Tulare, Ca, we finally arrived at my Dad's house for late Thanksgiving. THE FOOD WAS GREAT! Apparently they had Thanksgiving at 10:30am! It was done, so they decided to eat! We just reheated, and it was still very good. Good job, Nanny and Grandpa! And Davis is 5, not a baby anymore, but still keeping Holly and Nanny very busy!

Good news,.I am now working 4 days a week. 4 long days, 6am to 4:30-5sh, plus an hr and 1/2 commute each day, but a day off during the week is worth it. He plays bass at church every Sunday now, and still has his band in Vancouver, and guitar lessons once a week. Makes for a busy week, but we are getting in a routine.
