Thursday, 26 January 2012. How am I doing. So today i got my results from the first semester and it seems like i'm not doing too badly! In APT, I managed to landed a nice 73% for this image:. The tutor mentioned that it was an excellent piece of work, creatively i worked hard on creating this vision but it also presented challenges i had to overcome such as lighting, shadow, paper and profiles, which i successfully documented on a private blog. Monday, 5 March 2012. Heya guys. reason i haven't updated is because its been a really really busy month. lots and lots of photography happenings not entirely sure where to start. Wednesday, 7 November 2012. Experiment: Film Soups 2. Well I did some more experiments with creating film soups. please note i havent edited these except to crop. So the first set was in bleach for like a minute. I dropped the exposed film canister into diluted bleach for around 1 minute. Left it on the side for a day and then took the film out of the canister to hang to dry in a darkroom for 3 days:. And lastly, I put the exposed film canister into boiling hand squeezed 100% lemon juice and let it boil ...

Friday, 25 January 2013. Dissertation In, Onto My Next Thing. Dissertation was finally submitted on Tuesday and thats a massive weight off my shoulder and happy I will not be doing anything like that again! Wednesday, 24 October 2012. Film Experiment: Film Soups. In this next set of experiments i decided to make film soups. First time doing this so was a little nervous. damaging film like this. These ones were soaked in hot water and lemon. same as above soaked about 5 days. over the radiator for 2 hours and the taken out of its canister and hung to dry in a darkroom over the weekend.
