Marbling Process - Suspensions Design

Creating a Marbled Design. Below is a sequence of images which show the evolution of a marbled design. In this case the design is called the Gothic Pattern. The design is being created in a tray which is large enough to hold a 12" x 60" silk scarf. The first step is to drop the desired paint (acrylic mixed with fabric medium in this case) onto the surface of the solution of water and carrageenan.
