Friday, May 31, 2013. Thinking of You card using Chris Durnan's cutter file. How cute is this owl? This is part of a cutter file that was included in Chris Durnan's Quarterly Membership Club. I cut him out, pin-stitched and chalked the edges. I layered him on a torn and inked piece of patterned paper. I stamped the Thinkin' of you! Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Birthday card using Chris Durnan's cutter file. I made this birthday card using Chris's cutter file - Fancy Journaling Frames. You can find it here. I really need to get a new camera, the one on my cell phone doesn't do this card justice. I cut the background from a lightly patterned yellow paper, then cut the journal block from patterned green, inked the edges with brown and layered it all on a solid sheet of green with torn and inked edges. The first one I cut only the animal print frame and the greeting. I put two pieces of ribbon around the greeting to complete. The second card I used the entire file. Friday, March 30, 2012. The story of Wheatley. Wheatley is my best friend. And yes, he's "just a dog". He came into my life last June. I had told my kids "no more animals". We already had a doxie and a bull dog. Not to mention the cats, the horse, the chickens, the bird, the fish.you get the idea. He quickly befriended our bulldog (the doxie, not so much) but above all else, Wheatley became *my* dog. My youngest made a cross for his grave. I love you Wheatley.you were such a good boy! He was so cute!
