"yeah i guess so, we're biking cross-country for greenpeace" oh that is crazy. Which is what they all seem to th...So be...

http://greencycling.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Coast to Coast: One Mile at a Time. Saturday, June 24, 2006. The hardest part is over! We finally made it to Berea, KY! After riding in the rain for the first time, we arrived at the Berea campus and a professor stumbled upon us as we left the information center. After asking him about camping, food, and some other general enquires he offered us a room at his beautiful home located three houses away from campus! Stayed at a lovely campground behind a Church in Booneville, KY. Crossed over into Kentucky!

Coast to Coast: One Mile at a Time. Wednesday, August 09, 2006. Good fortune in Oregon. But anyway, things got better as they always seem to for us. As we're biking along this car pulls over and a friendly face appears. Two kids get out of the backseat and run down the road. "Where are you headed? The man asks us. "well. right now? I say, a bit confused . "Uhh yeah? Oh we're just going to try to find this campground down the street" I say. "Well would you like a better option? Some 70 miles later.

Coast to Coast: One Mile at a Time. Thursday, August 17, 2006. We Made It :). Average mileage/day: 70.3. 7 rest days total. Two young girls without support and much cycling experience made it across the United States without taking the easiest, shortest, or quickest route. I know we surprised a lot of people along the way, including ourselves. Many thanks to the generous donations of Karl Meyer, Matt and Yvonne Devlin, Jerry and Marcy Monkman, Walter and Shirley Donelson and Ron and Nancy. He asks. o...

Coast to Coast: One Mile at a Time: National Parks: Interesting Facts
http://greencycling.blogspot.com/2006/08/national-parks-interesting-facts.html
Coast to Coast: One Mile at a Time. Tuesday, August 01, 2006. National Parks: Interesting Facts. Cost of car to enter National Park: $25.00. Cost of 3 bicycles to enter National Park: $36.00. What also bothers me is that a bicycle has almost no impact upon the land, it pollutes nothing to the environment and it will most definitly not harm the animals in the park (as a car going 45mph possibly could). So shouldn't the national parks try to encourage this form of travel? Feel free to comment. The differen...

Coast to Coast: One Mile at a Time. Friday, June 01, 2007. Stories from a year ago. Well, it's been more than a year since we began our cross country journey and I find myself looking at the website wondering just what to do with it. At one of our last posts we promised more stories of all the adventures that we encountered along the way. But the problem was, we never knew where to start. So much was left out. well I can't think of anywhere else to start, except at the beginning. - Rose.
