Monday, May 20, 2013. Staycation - Days 5, 6, 7.It's a long one! It's been a while, but I didn't feel like posting while on our stay downtown and, well, we've been busy! Day 5 we slept in and hung out at the house until we packed up and swung by Sesame for lunch. After lunch, we headed downtown. We wanted to make the most of our staycation and spend some time away from the house in downtown Charleston! Let me tell you, it was AWESOME! I wish we had stayed longer, but I'm hoping we make this a yearly thing.

There were certainly more than a few who thought that idea should be reconsidered. And then there's the Moon. Seriously. Who did we really think we were setting our sights on that goal? The thing is, as Americans growing up in what President Reagan described as the shining city on the hill. You Can do it.

Deconstruct to Reconstruct: A Tiny House Story. Charleston SC tiny house. Monday, November 21, 2011. The Skinny on The Tiny. Since we've got them, I figure I'll share a few Google SketchUp renderings of the Tiny House. SketchUp is free, and it is a really useful tool in considering the 2d plans spatially. A few details have already changed (window placement, mostly), and a few things need to be added (water heater, a/c unit, more detailed cabinetry diagrams), but they're too cool not to share. Zach and I...
