We have run recycling programs at various town events. Here are some recent results. 2008 Town Day estimated collections. 2008 En Ka Fair. 620 pounds of cardboard and plastic. 7 large bags of soda cans. Only one dumpster had to be rented this year instead of two, increasing En Ka's profits. Sustainable Winchester is a 501(c)3 organization. All gifts are tax deductible. Panels Installed On High School April 2010! In the spring of 2008, we raised over 300 contributions to the New England Wind Fund, enough to earn two 2 kW solar installations for the high school in the New England Wind Community Solar Challenge. Thank you to everyone who made a donation. Minimum qualifying contributions were $5/month or $100 once. All funds contributed were matched dollar-for-dollar by the Renewable Energy Trust and placed into Winchester's Clean Energy Choice Fund for future use.
