Lsquo;Sustaining the Person Within' is a thought provoking and beautiful new exhibition at Birmingham Cathedral, exploring the personal responses of lead artists Jan Gay and Kathryn Pettitt and their team, to teaching creative activities in residential homes in Solihull. During Jan’s Art Degree in 1997 she started an art group with residents at Rayner House Residential Home. The home quickly recognised the benefits to residents who joined the classes and invited Jan to continue to lead the group.
