I love to read. Monday, August 28, 2006. Our last stop was in Eureka, which I didn't find a particulary compelling city (very gray, gloomy, foggy), but it was our base point from which to explore Redwood National Forest, which was fantastic. I've always wanted to see the giant redwoods, and indeed we did on our 10-mile roundtrip trek. At dinner later that night, we both practically inhaled our food. We want to go back, just to take better pictures! Our Victorian-style Bed and Breakfast inn, The Ship's Inn.

I don't really see the context and responsibility themes, but the other three seem about right. They also seem quite similar. I am just so grateful to have this opportunity to teach, listen to new ideas and get intellectually stimulated again, and have the work load not be too demanding that I can't work on my dissertation as well. It was great to visit my nephew, niece, sis, and bro-in-law. i really missed seeing those cute kiddies (biased of course) who sure are growing up fast! I learned a few lessons while i was there. 1 " let's go to the playroom. Translates as let's play trains and push them around for hours! Needs to be washed at least 4 times a day. i nominated myself the official dishwasher for the week. 4 raising two kiddies.
