Monday, July 1, 2013. Days 1 and 2: Yakatut Bay and Glacier Bay. We made it onto our cruise ship! For the next week we had gorgeous views like this to look at, on both sides of the ship. We embarked on June 8 and the cruise took 7 days, from Whittier, Alaska to Vancouver, Canada. Dressed up and ready for our first dinner! I'm a big fan of pretty sunsets. The next day we had all kinds of fun activities to do on board the ship. It was technically a "Day at Sea," but we were sailing along through Yakatu...

Tuesday, November 27, 2012. I know it seems like we dropped off the face of the planet this month. But really I just haven't been able to add pictures to our blog. And what fun is a blog with no pictures? I must have pictures! In the meantime, November did happen! Some highlights that I would have blogged about:. My birthday. Yay! I'm older now. (Imagine me sitting in front of a cake, smiling.). Baby Josh can walk now! It took him 14 months and boy is he excited to get around. Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

She still has one spot on her right side of neck that gets spasms in it occasionally, but is back to herself. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Always in my thoughts. Sunday, January 25, 2015. Here is to a family filled Sabbath Day. We have pancakes quite regularly at our house. I might have already posted this one but can't remember. This batch makes about 6 pancakes, so double according to how many you need. 1 TBS bking powder. 2 TBS oil canola or vegetable. If you would like to make these into a buttermilk pancake, then you can substitute 3/4 cup buttermilk and 1/4 regular milk. The buttermilk is really thick so will need a bit thinning with regular milk. If you do...

Tuesday, June 25, 2013. We finally made it! When Ben's mom picked us up at the airport (thank you! We were greeted soon after by her friend, a Native Alaskan. Ben told me we weren't going to see any igloos or Eskimos on our trip, so I jumped all over my chance to speak to a native. She humored me with a little U'pik:. Next, Ben's stepdad Ed drove us to see his daughter Rebecca. Holy Big Dog! His foot is longer than mine! Who doesn't love a super huge chocolate fountain? After dinner Cathy drove us up abo...

Nelson Family: February 2013
http://idahonelsons.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 21, 2013. Jonathan was pretty excited to pull out the goggles and get to work with his hammer and chisel. The brick was pretty strong so he had to chip away a little at a time, looking for the promised dinosaur bones. Finally he struck plastic and we were thrilled to discover that there really was something in there. (We were starting to wonder.). He kept hammering and dusting and hammering some more. Halfway through the brick we had to call a time-out and go to bed. I've noticed thoug...

Bunny update- These little guys didn't make it. They lived for a couple days. Mommy was trying but just didn't work out. It was kind of a dramatic entrance and a lot of changes took place when we brought her in. We will try again and hopefully have bunnies in a couple months. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Berlinguets: Mother's Day 2015
http://berlinguet7.blogspot.com/2015/05/mothers-day-2015.html
Monday, May 18, 2015. I am so thankful that I get to be these kids' mom. They are my everything. I am also thankful for my mom and my husbands mom and stepmom. They have all played such huge roles in our lives. Aleena gave me the best present ever. A much needed eyebrow tweezing. She thought that was the coolest thing ever, and I always have a million hairs that can be tweezed. Livee made this at school. Aleena made this at her friends house.
