Snippets of Sue: September 2011
http://snippetsofsue.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 21, 2011. You are what you eat! Today at work I kept thinking about the old phrase "You Are What You Eat" and decided that I am going to eat something special everyday because I'm special! Eating for one doesn't have to be second rate and just because you're eating alone you shouldn't treat yourself as second rate. As well as one of the unopened pouch. As dinner for one doesn't need to be second rate, neither do disposable plates! You can't beat that! Links to this post. However, thi...

Monday, June 20, 2011. So this week, while I continue with the Neti Pot and increased water intake, I'm going to increase one more thing - my vegetable consumption! Links to this post. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Extreme Makeover . Me! While I haven't watched Extreme Makeover the WeightLoss Edition where Chris Powell transforms lives over the course of a year, just seeing the ads made me wonder if I could do it myself! Sunday, March 27, 2011. Wasabi, Avocado and Ginger Ice Cream. Today I made Wasabi,. And Ginger Ice Cream. You may wonder what ever inspired me to make such a dish. The answer is the secret ingredient for Stage 4 of the Marx Foods. And that ingredient is Wasabi. Rhizome. I had never seen this before but it sure reminded me of fresh ginger which got my brain linking the two together from the start! All my options, I kept coming back to ice cream. To tone down the intensity of the wasabi. Thank you again, M...

Thursday, April 28, 2011. What am I doing blogging about Yuzu Juice, Sudachi Juice and Kabosu Juice? Is excited to bring these exotic flavors to their store. So excited, in fact, that they sent a number of bloggers free samples of the juices to review for them and I was one of the lucky bloggers who received the samples! Taste testers thought this one would be good in ice cream or mint iced tea and would also work well in rice dishes or in a flan or rice pudding. The testers thought this juice would ...

Snippets of Sue: Salmon and Risotto
http://snippetsofsue.blogspot.com/2011/10/tonights-dinner-for-one-took-little-bit.html
Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Tonight's dinner for one took a little bit of time to get ready but was well worth it! This dinner was so incredibly good and the only leftover I have to deal with is the risotto. To make it even better, I didn't have to wash my plate since it was a fabulous bamboo. Disposable plate given to me by Marx Foods. The plate held up incredibly well, even to the juicy tomato! This meal makes me wish the garden season wasn't ending! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://lifefaithincaneyhead.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Life and Faith in Caneyhead. Real life. Real stories. Real blog. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. I Saw it on Facebook. Yep, I've known my share of folks you could say this about. This is a mighty small amount of gasoline, folks. Most old school go-carts have two stroke engines. An ant is incredibly small and two laps around a Cheerio? Wow, the hardest part would be not over filling the tank on that vehicle. Links to this post. Labels: I Saw it on Facebook. You cant fix stupid. Tuesday, January 20, 2015. I hav...

Snippets of Sue: Getting Back On Track

Sunday, October 2, 2011. Getting Back On Track. Soup and salad - yum! And while I was watching the Vikings break my heart in football today, I consoled myself with a new pizza recipe using polenta as the crust. It was so easy and so good! And since I still had Kale salad left, I had it again with my pizza. Perfect and very little fuss for dinner. I've also come to the conclusion that I need more "rustic" dishes to go with the food I've been making lately. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Go Where the ...
