May 5, 2015. May 5, 2015. December 15, 2014. May 5, 2015. Pearl yellow: Satin/ gloss. This glaze fired with pin holes. I have sieved the glaze now with a 80 and a 100 sieve. Works well over iron oxide and with other glazes to be listed e.g. glaze 1 and 3. Light mottled green: Satin. Not transparent at all – covered the iron oxide completely. On its own it is not mottled! Good with Glaze 0 – mottled effect. Good with Glaze 3 – make a deep green. Pink breaking to grey: Satin/ gloss. Nice with Glaze 1 (III).
