My blog, family life and creative explorations. August 11, 2015. So far the experiment in downtown living is going well. This weekend we enjoyed three performances from the National Black Theater Festival, two within walking distance. There was an air of celebration, lots of out of town visitors. We sat on the corner of Cherry and Fifth eating dinner at Small Batch (a brew pub with excellent sliders) and watched the hustle of people enjoying downtown between performances.
