Suzie vs. Leukemia. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. And on the 9th day they were at 6%! Suzie's been on her liquid chemo diet nine days and her blood work showed on day nine that her blasts were 6% in her blood. She's gone from 82% to 60% to 36% and now 6. Anyway, they tentatively have a biopsy scheduled for next Monday. Suzie vs. Leukemia. Friday, May 27, 2011. Got up and was at the hospital before 7:30 and wouldn't you know it, doctor didn't come in till maybe 9:30. They will do another marrow biopsy sometime next week in order to confirm the blood counts in her marrow. They want to be sure the count is going down and not up. The UW doctors don't make the decision about next steps for transplant, that's the SCCA doctors. So if her blasts stay down then her care will shift back to the SCCA. Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
