Thursday, April 9, 2009. First post, oh! Okay, so, hi! I've read about a million of these little blogs by foreign exchange students and I decided to make one. I figure it'll be a good way to keep everyone updated, since time zones/homesickness/AFS suggestions will mean I probably won't have a lot of time to. Slash it's fun. Sooo a week ago, I got OFFICIALLY accepted by AFS Italy to go for the 2009-2010 school year! I leave in September, which is still five months away, but so much happens before then.

Thursday, May 20, 2010. Rants spurred by sleepiness and grouchiness. Odd and slightly annoying things so far about Syria:. 1 Sketchy, tight-pants wearing shabaab that like to utter things like "Welcome to Sooriya" or maybe what sounds like a subtly sexual thing in French. Maybe that has more to do with the fact that French sounds subtly sexual anyway. 2 Hole in the wall "toilets" (which are all we have in the dorms). 'Nuff said. Seriously, can't I speak something like Italian or maybe Romanian even?

Suzy is a headbanger. Friday, May 8, 2009. Who Impressed Me at the Costume Institute Gala 2009? To be fair, I think that this year's theme,"Model as Muse", was a wee bit nebulus to interpret. However, that really can't be the reason so many people bored me to tears. It is called a gala for a REASON. Let us go all-out, be crazy, take RISKS, celebrate!
