8212; Main Menu —. Aug 12, 2015. Weather has been variable, some days hot (16 celcius), some days freezing, and some days it just snows. Here is a quick update on the first stage of our circumnavigation of Nordaustlandet. We have been busy pushing out some big days hence the lack of blog updates. More coming soon. I promise! The biggest walrus we have seen so far, looked immense and alien lying on the beach. The old research station the next day after the fog left. Old Russian Technology left to rust.

8212; Main Menu —. In mid June 2015, our team will fly north to Longyearbyen, Svalbard, to begin our 2000-kilometre sea kayak journey around the four main islands of the archipelago. We expect this adventure to take around 90 days, and apart from two planned food drops, we will be paddling expedition style without a support crew.
