Furniture and product design. I had the pleasure of working with KODE, The Rasmus Meyer Collection, this year. The museum was renovated fall 2012 and spring 2013. I designed the new museum shop, chose colors, floor covering, general lighting and furniture; assisting the museum in achieving the look and feel they sought. Furniture and product design. In collaboration with Line Daatland and Tove Haugsbø, I have designed the Nicolai Astrup exhibition at the Bergen Art Museum. We managed to turn an impersonal gloomy space into a warm and suitable backdrop for Nicolai Astrups fanatastic coloursaturated paintings and prints. Furniture and product design. The ground floor of the Rasmus Meyer collection is a reproduction of his house in Krybbebakken, Bergen. This floor houses classical Norwegian paintings and also many of Rasmus Meyers possessions. The rooms are organized as his home originally was. Furniture and product design. The Laban Lamp was shown in two versions. The shades are attached to the lamps with magnets, this gives the textile a soft look, and also allowing the laps to move gently in the breeze. The chairs were put to test by tired fair participants. People really enjoyed the rest in the low, soft comfortable chairs. The braided poufs in wool felt attracted a lot of attention as well. Here is a photo of my stand. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Furniture and product design. I participated at the "KHiB with friends" exhibition at the London Design Festival 2013, showing both a redesigned footstool (top), and the Terra pouf that I have designed for Soft Line, Denmark. We chose bright yellow for the exhibition! Here with Queen Sonja of Norway, guided by Professor Dave Vikøren and Petter Bergerud (right), from The Norwegian Academy of Art and Design, Bergen.
