Sarah Verrall Industry Exercises 1. Monday, 2 March 2009. IK demonstration on the leg showing the pole vector contraints parented to the foot control so they follow the rig and geometry. . Demonstration of the reverse foot setup, very helpful for animation. Checking the joint orientations for IK set up. X should always be pointing towards the child. Even though my model isn't being handed over to another animator, im still pushing myself to complete correct working methods such as naming all my joints.

Whilst reading through my rigging book, it recommended the animation Tadeo Jones for its character creation and advanced rigging created in 3ds max. 160;worth a watch anyways. Sarah Verrall Industry Exercises 1. Thursday, 5 March 2009. Blend me shape me. Took me a few attempts to get into the swing of it but i was then well away with creating the expressions for my model. Like anything in Maya, i find the more you do it, the more you become quicker and clever about how to make something. Monday, 2 March 2009. Sam Buddy, We got a New Toy! Made this fully ready to Crack open with moveable handles. You turn the handle and it ACTUALLY moves like a safe! Quite happy with this even though it's mainly primitives it'll do the job in the background of the interior I think. Poly Count isn't too high either considering we still have plenty to play with!
