SV Java to the Bahamas 2012. Oct 26, 2012. Who is this man? She likes this porch! Kids playing on the swing. Java is out there in the harbor. You have got to be kidding me! Got Hurricane Sandy coming up the coast and we plan to move over into South River and anchor down. Only problem with the place is that it is a electronic black hole. We have had a couple of cool nights,in the 50`s but tonight is gorgeous with a blazing orange sunset.Mike hasn`t gone fishing here but helped a fisherman clean his catch and was rewarded with a nice strawberry grouper. The docks are not full,business is very slow in the islands.We got an excellent dockage rate that included electric,water and cable and they have clean showers ,pool and restaurant and bar. E left the Lake Worth Inlet on Thursday afternoon on the way to Great Sale Cay with two other boats, Lee Ann and Madeline. We had a good crossing, about 4 ft swells with a 12 second period on our stern quarter. It wasn't a great crossing, but it wasn't bad either.
