We (Barbara and Craig Johnston) met at Cazadero Music Camp. When we were 15 and 16. We married in 1968, and have since lived in Berkeley, the Seattle area and the Portland area. As teenagers, we sailed on San Francisco Bay in Barbara's family sailboats - first a Fleur Bleu 24, then a Lapworth 39. TIPS FOR SAFE CANDLE BURNING:. Unpack and remove all packaging before lighting. Place the candle on a firm, protected and heat-resistant surface, away from curtains, cloths, furniture and away from children and pets. Always keep the wick centered and trimmed to 10mm. Remove the trimmings, match stick etc. from the wax pool. If mushrooming or smoke occurs, blow out the candle, trim the wick and then re-light after removing the trimmings.
