Ever since we got to the Caribbean, I wanted to visit a volcano. Our first chance, after having skipped Statia and not having enough time in St. Kitts, was Nevis. I have to say I'm very proud of the kids. Even though they were tired and it wasn't always easy, they didn't complain and just kept going. Repelling to see a cascade. On our way to Plysmouth. Después de una estadía más bien corta en Dominica (debido a que los anclajes que encontramos eran bastante incómodos), decidimos partir para Martinique. St Pierre y Mt. Pelée a la distancia. Finalmente llegamos a Grenada. A las 9.30 am partimos de Martinique, con rumbo a Bequia. Decidimos saltearnos St. Lucia y St. Vincent dado que en los últimos años han habido algunos casos de robo a barcos. Preferimos no conocer esas islas y estar seguros. En esta isla encontramos los mangos más deliciosos que hayamos comido. También comimos por primera vez dos frutas deliciosas: wax apple y prickly pear. Sei' mese' de iore' y chancla'. Mañana zarpamos por última vez en el 2014. Vamos a llevar el Taia a un lugar en el que quedará prolijamente estacionado en tierra. Los últimos días han estado llenos de preparativos. Ordenar, limpiar, preparar valijas, concluir trabajos en el barco. Así es que terminan estos maraviyoso' sei' mese' de iore' y chancla'. De regreso al primer mundo. El clima se hizo rogar y la ventana de buen tiempo para cruzar a Estados Unidos no aparecía.
