Our Journey in life: April 2014

Tuesday, April 1, 2014. One more thing I should have involved in the dissection. Common refers to having common standards. Core refers to the basic core subjects of reading, writing and math. Therefore, you have the name Common Core. Dissecting Common Core and Mormonism. Well that is an interesting title! I am going to go out on a strange tangent and compare the common core debate with anti Mormonism. For those of you who don't know, I am a Mormon. These are the same. From state to state. The purpose...

Our Journey in life: I Ate Pancakes with a Spoon
http://veronicainak.blogspot.com/2013/08/i-ate-pancakes-with-spoon.html
Friday, August 2, 2013. I Ate Pancakes with a Spoon. I tried another Paleo recipe. This one called for eggs, which I am allergic to. So I substituted with one of my favorite substitutes. Unfortunately, this did not work too well and even after the batter was burning, it never formed into a pancake. Do I removed it from the skillet and ate it with a spoon. Despite it being more like soup, it did taste good. Next time I will try a different egg substitute. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, March 31, 2014. Run From the Cops! Well, I haven't posted in a while. Maybe that is an understatement! I started training for my annual Run From the Cops, a couple weeks ago. So far, I am doing horrible. Last year, if I remember correctly, I ran 3.1 miles in about 33 minutes. That is not bad at all. So I admit it. I have not been running like I should throughout the winter. Things are looking up. the snow is melting and I got out the bicycle last night. Sally was happy about that. The Rest of 2015.

Saturday, March 2, 2013. I love them. The best part about them is that I was looking for the best fit. All the ones I had tried on were on sale except the best fitting ones. So, I thought well, I won't be saving. I got up to the counter and found out they were on sale and they were the least expensive! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Journey in life. Our Journey in life: July 2013
http://veronicainak.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 18, 2013. Is it our Dinner? Or is it the Dog's Dinner? Apparently these are supposed to be really healthy. They are really high in good fat. They are really easy to make too. Open the package, put them in a baking dish, set oven to 450 degrees, sprinkle with salt and pepper and garlic (optional) I put mine on after it cooked, and let it cook for 30 minutes. Me: "No those are for dinner. Cashier: "you're going to cook them right? I just thought it was funny. Monday, July 1, 2013.

Our Journey in life: December 2011
http://veronicainak.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 29, 2011. I used to be very abnormal in more ways than I like to think. Then again, what is normal? Yesterday I had a spiritual experience that made me feel really good. I had an overwhelming comfort that I was doing everything right and that I will be blessed. My resolution for the new year is to be as healthy and as happy as I can be with what I have. "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS Name them one by one.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Journey in life. Scottie, Angie, and Maddie.
