The Amhersts of Didlington Hall. Didlington Lake from the site of the Hall. My earliest memories are of Hampshire, many miles from the wild open countryside of Norfolk. However, holidays were spent at Foulden Hall, some eight miles from Swaffham,. Mummy Case in the Old Museum at The Hall. It was only a few years ago, during a visit to the fabulous and fascinating British Museum.

Kingdom is an ITV drama created by Simon Wheeler staring Steven Fry as a Norfolk-based solicitor who is trying to get on with life after the mysterious disappearance of his brother. The series also stars Hermione Norris, Celia Imrie, Karl Davies and Tony Slattery. They filmed in many places around Castle Acre and used locations in the village for the butchers, pub and antiques shop. The local town of Swaffham.

The beach at Wells-next-the-Sea, and on to Holkham to the West, is one of the most beautiful areas of North Norfolk. Located 1.5 miles from the town, the sandy beach opens out to the North Sea. You can walk or drive to the beach, or take the miniature railway which runs up to the Pinewoods Camping Site. Welcome to my site. I make individual and functional pottery for everyday use in the home. The stoneware pots are fired to a high temperature making them ovenproof, and safe in dishwashers and microwaves. I use a combination of oriental glazes in a contemporary manner, sometimes layering one over another with wax resist. In addition I make pebble planters for the garden using a robust clay which again is high fired making the planters suitable for outdoor use throughout the year. Make a Free Website.
