Running writing | swallowing her words like water

Swallowing her words like water. June 17, 2012. This is a post about footballers. I am not going to make any jokes about the intelligence of this specific breed of hard protein. Yet. Nor am I about to labour over gratuitous references to Lara Bingle, Ricky Nixon and The Apprentice Australia. Having spent a morning with that gorgeous gentle giant of towering hair Nic Naitanui, I must also defend one or two footy players who are possibly worth their godlike status. Or at least their hair is. Waxed camp-lyr...

The time had come not only to shine a light on these incessant errors, but to embrace them. And to do so with love and compassion. Really, really trying.

Swallowing her words like water. Running writing →. June 11, 2012. Onomatopoeia is that lingo thingy where words look like they sound. Or is that sound like they look? Or sound like they sound? You know what I mean (or not). CLUNK! This next linguistic fail, in my humbly literate opinion, actually gets an A in my books, not only for its onomatopoeic quality (hard “k” sound thingy again) but its blunt truth telling. I think a few letters of the alphabet were flushed long ago, never to return. Posted in ap...
