I Am Alpineflower: Random
http://iamalpineflower.blogspot.com/2009/04/random.html
Sunday, April 19, 2009. It's Sunday, and My Hero took the Doodle to run errands, and I seem to have established a blogging habit, so here I am. Nothing profound, but this is deep:. Heh heh. Actually, this is the snow we got two or three weeks ago. I was all, "would have been nice to get some of this in January or February." Then, it did it again this week! So in the month of April we've gotten something like 20 inches of snow. We had no precipitation at. For January, February and most of March. Unreal.

Knit and Run: September 2006
http://knitandrun.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 01, 2006. FO #9 - Teddy Bear. Teddy Bear from Mother Bear Project. I found the idea for this on Another Blog. What needles did you use? What kind of yarn is that? Leftover Manetto Hill Yarnery Chorus, Color 27, along with Lion-Brand Wool-Ease. I haven't decided if I'm going to send it to Mother Bear Project. Or if I'm going to give it to Kimberly, or if I'll send it to the sister that is getting the hat (she's on a missionary trip, and maybe there will be a kid that could use it). They ...

Knit and Run: March 2007
http://knitandrun.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 31, 2007. I shouldn't be surprised. McDonald's new gourmet coffee is awful. I took three sips, and then stopped. I could not drink any more. If I had still been at McDonald's, instead of the 101 onramp, I would have taken it back and asked for a soda instead. Why on earth did I think that McDonald's coffee would have been anything but awful? Labels: Neither knitting nor running. Posted by Lisa at 11:02 PM. Thursday, March 15, 2007. Let's Pretend it's Friday. I QUIT MY JOB! I have been kni...

Punk Cats Can Knit Too: May 2009
http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Yes, another post! Look at me, being a responsible blogger! And now you can literally look at me, interviewed in a video podcast from Lets Knit2Gether. I'm the first person interviewed, giggling nervously and blushing like mad. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. This was fingering-ish weight singles I spun out of a Coopworth/Llama blend I got from Wild Hare Fiber Studios. This fiber practically spun itself and the singles came out so shiny! This was the main reason I was so excited I won, be...

Punk Cats Can Knit Too: August 2007
http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 27, 2007. Stares* So close, so close. *runs off to take pictures of stash*. Monday, August 13, 2007. I'm so fickle. I wasn't in the mood for any of my zillion WIPs the other night, so I cast on for a Dream Swatch. I flit from project to project and never end up casting on the project I think I'm going to next. Here's a close up of some of my SWS grannies. I had to crack into another colorway, but at least I had another in shades of pink, so I think it'll blend well. I love the way ...I jus...

Knit and Run: April 2007
http://knitandrun.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 12, 2007. I love making me some baby sweaters. I love baby sweaters; they are quick, and they look cute, and hey - those wearing them generally don't complain that it's not in style, or you missed a stitch, or anything like that. I made this for he who shall be born next week. I used to work with his Mom - she's a cool one! This is a really nice pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts; in fact, it's so nice, I've knitted it twice. Labels: knitting is fun. Posted by Lisa at 3:24 PM.
