It was 60 degrees in Seattle and 97 degrees in Scottsdale. We were happy to get out of town and, as Scott says, get the mold out of our ears. On our first morning there we went on a hike. For Memorial Day this year we headed to San Diego to spend some time with Amy and Josh Criswell (Scott's sister and her husband) and their little goofball Jimmy. Scott's dad found us an amazing condo right on Mission Beach. This is the view just steps from our front door. Jimmy taking the reigns of a helicopter. Isn't he a cutie patooty? Turns out the Swanteks, Leptichs, and James all made the trip down - and both Kruse families were already down there! Luckily it wasn't super hot - so some runs were conquered.
