The Byre is part of a beautiful stone built property more than 200 years old, and is a sympathetic conversion of a building that once housed 2 cows, a calf, a pig and a small hay store. It is part of the mill cottage which once was home to the owners of a water-mill that has long since disappeared. However the remains of the millrace and of course the stream still remain.
