Knitterings: October 2014
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. October is almost finished, only 4 hours to go, and I've managed to finish some stuff before the end of the month. Today I finished three things! Then you snip a stitch from the middle of the row. I used a darning needle to pull up the stitches until I got to the last stitch on each side, but I left those to keep the two sides connected neatly. I just left the loose ends until the heel was done, and then I pulled the ends tight and darned them in. I wonder if I can make one more...

Lifestyles of the Young and the Wreckless: May 2011
http://shazeg.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Lifestyles of the Young and the Wreckless. Nonsensical ramblings from a 20 something. Monday, May 30, 2011. May has been a cold witch. The warmth is finally beginning to show through! I made a very bold decision to put away the winter clothes yesterday.I'm still wearing the few I left out.but this morning was very warm.I might move down to a t-shirt. Last faves of May! Space bags - they just vacuum up and save SO much space! 8226; Clearly Contacts - so cheap! My amazing view of all the games . I'd say B...

Good Kids: Béla's 13 month post (only a little bit late...)
http://julesandjer.blogspot.com/2010/10/belas-13-month-post-only-little-bit.html
Thursday, October 07, 2010. Béla's 13 month post (only a little bit late.). Jeremi also asked about what seemed to be his cradle cap getting worse in a few crusty areas, which she identified as some sort of parasitic mite infection common in the late summer that was totally harmless and which would go away of its own accord in October, which it did. Weird. This might be a good time to mention how much he loves daycare. And now the jacket that my friend Rachel knit him fits! Doesn't he look smart? Here Bé...

cowl – Stitches & Spoonfuls
http://stitchesandspoonfuls.com/tag/cowl
Published July 26, 2015. I finished my Appia cowl! I am so pleased with how it turned out, and now I’m a tad obsessed with the idea of cowl-shawl combos. I’ve already started looking through my stash to start another one of this designer’s patterns. The yarn is my own fingering weight. In “Daybreak”, which I think is a perfect summer colour. I hope you are all having a lovely and relaxing weekend! Published July 8, 2015. This week, I’ve been…. My Appia cowl in my own fingering weight. Linking up with KCCO.

Published August 25, 2016. Overall, it was a great weekend – such a fun late summer trip! Follow me on Bloglovin’ if you’d like to see future posts! Published March 27, 2016. To celebrate, some friends and I got together on Friday evening and dyed some hardboiled eggs with food colouring. I love how the colours turned out, and using tape made such fun patterns. I also made some hot cross buns, and generally enjoyed a bit of time off work and school (although I’m still writing papers…). A few years ago.

Knitterings: NEWT 7 and NEWT 8
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2015/08/newt-7-and-newt-8.html
Sunday, August 2, 2015. NEWT 7 and NEWT 8. Here's the last project for NEWT 7, a triangle shawl called "The Age of Brass and Steel", knit with my handspun, the N4ply mixes of Twelve and Peacoat. Love it. It's a Polwarth/tencel mix, so it's very soft (wearing it right now) and it was quick, and I love the colors. Lovely to knit, too, but I'm glad to get it finished. You know, so I could start another NEWT :). One other handspun finished this month:. Kathy's Fibres Optim in "Sunset". I'm on my way :).

Knitterings: September 2014
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. I think I’ve figured out a way to post blogs with my little ipod. So this is something of a test; we’ll see how it turns out. I haven’t been able to post here for ages. My trusty old computer will not connect to the Internet, except the iTunes store, and I don’t know how to fix it. Annoying! So, last month…. I think I showed you the colorful handspun yarn? These are the entrelac gloves I made with it. These giant skeins are so fat! I love ‘em. Also, I got my new nephew!
