Saturday, December 1, 2012. This is an MRI image of my brain exactly nine months ago. Shortly thereafter, it was removed and I was sent on my way. Yesterday I had another series of images and a meeting with my amazing neurosurgeon. I am thankful to report that the beast is still gone. For now, we will be thankful for this gift. Saturday, November 10, 2012. Hope in a desert. Sometimes you find hope in the most unexpected places. I'm 'used to' searching out hope. I've read books and articles on finding and identifying your hopes. I've hoped in the darkest of times. I never expected to find hope in a desert. I did. I never did have the opportunity to confront the boy that hurt me, though. Believe me, I was looking for him the whole time I was there. He just wasn't to be found. I did. Have opportunities to confront a man.

Don't squish your sister! Tuesday, March 24, 2009. What have I been up to, you must be wondering. Well, certainly not blogging. Actually, we've been rather busy with preschool. Poppy started the 3s class in December and loves it. It's a play-centered, parent participation/co-op sort of thing, so I work in the classroom a few times a month.
