I Knit, Therefore I Blog: June 2013
http://iknitthereforeiblog.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
I Knit, Therefore I Blog. Kathy Kathy Kathy's recombobulation area. Saturday, June 15, 2013. I finally published the drop stitch scarf/shawl pattern that I've been designing off and on for at least a couple of years. It turned out really well, even better than I had hoped, actually. It's fun to knit, it's not complicated, it can use just about any yarn or needle, it makes a nice scarf or a nice stole. It can be sophisticated or rustic, blocked or free-form. 65279;. It's a good summer project.

I Knit, Therefore I Blog: Sock Rehemming
http://iknitthereforeiblog.blogspot.com/2013/05/sock-rehemming.html
I Knit, Therefore I Blog. Kathy Kathy Kathy's recombobulation area. Tuesday, May 14, 2013. One of the first real pairs of socks I ever made was a pair out of Collinette Jitterbug. The yarn cost $21.00, which was a huge. The old bind off has been partially removed. I found some of the leftovers of the original yarn and rebound them. The hardest part was unraveling / unthatching / picking out the old bind off. It took almost an hour for both socks. Close Up of the New Bind-Off. 65279;. Ive done that :).

Stash Amassed Beyond Life Expectancy: Sock Yarn Studio Book Give-Away!
http://beyondlifeexpectancy1.blogspot.com/2012/11/sock-yarn-studio-book-give-away.html
Thursday, November 01, 2012. Sock Yarn Studio Book Give-Away! In January, 2011, I got an message from Carol Sulcoski asking me if I wanted to contribute something to a book she was putting together. I was just starting work on my Tenney Park. Well, sure, I thought. No problem. So I made another proposal with a sketch and a few vague details. Knitting backward is also handy for making bobbles or just any knitting that involves a lot of turning from right to wrong side of the fabric and back again. Thursda...

Stash Amassed Beyond Life Expectancy: February 2011
http://beyondlifeexpectancy1.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 27, 2011. Here's a picture I took the day after the Big Blizzard of '11, early this month:. I'm not quite sure how the wind was blowing to cause this formation, but I suspect it was coming from the south, under the fence, and scooped all the snow up into that nice crisp ridge. If the wind came from the north, it would have hit the fence, curled down, and scooped the snow. In either case, it was cool while it lasted. Yarn: Universal Yarns, Ditto. Now discontinued. Knit on US #1 needles.
