Kinda crazy when you think about it, but the weather here is so strange, we can't even rely on the weather forecast from the day beforehand. Tales and Curiosities of One Year. Saturday, June 6, 2009. So Mack and I have spent the past few days in Dunedin and the Catlins with Dave Rogowski '08, who was kind enough to host us for a few days! It's been a quick half a week, but we've seen and done quite a bit. Anyways, not much time left on the internet, so we leave here, go north to see Mount Cook, then jump over through Christchurch to Blenheim for a bit of touring, and then back to Christchurch to fly out on Wednesday! Tales and Curiosities of One Year. Saturday, April 25, 2009. Another day on the job (and photos as promised). I saw my first hedgehog ever this morning! Unfortunately, it was dead - apparently sonic doesn't do so well with the really powerful traps. We also pulled out several dead rats, but no more ferrets today. A year on the move. Saturday, June 6, 2009. Only 3 days left in NZ! Jon and I have just done a whirlwind tour of the South Island, including 2.5 of the famous Great Walks and will soon be cracking the 4000km mark on our rental car (pretty good considering we've only actually driven it 11 of the last 20 days). A year on the move. Sunday, January 25, 2009. We just had a quickie powerpoint introduction to the project. Very Cool. We head up to go start pulling fences this afternoon and have a BBQ with the other volunteers up there. We´ll be out for roughly a week then before we come back here and have a few free days.
