February 14th, 2009. 1 Start with a new file you can chose any color and size. Then take the Rounded Rectangle Tool (U) and draw out the size you want to have on your button. 2 Then go to the layers palette and right click, chose Blending Options and use this settings. Then add some text to your button. And you are done! This is what I came up with. Below is a another example with the same effects, I have just changed the background color and added some outer and inner glow on the text.

Then fill the canvas with #8C6239. 2 Go to Filter Texture Grain and set the Contrast to 50 and for the type set it to Contrasty. 3 Once again go to Filter Texture Grain use the same Contrast 50 and set the type to Horizontal. 4 Then go to Filter Blur Motion Blur and set the Angle to 0 and the Amount to 25. 5 Go to Image Adjustments Brightness/Contrast and set the Brightness to 55 and the Contrast to -30. February 23rd, 2009. 1 Begin with a new file, 300×200, with #660000 as your background color, then create a new layer in the layers palette. 2 Take the Line Tool and do the settings as the image below shows. And set your foreground color to white. 3 Now hold down Shift while drawing the Line Tool. 4 Now duplicate layer 1, to do that go to the layers palette and right click on layer 1 and choose Duplicate Layer.
