Friday, September 2, 2011. All right, here is Day 2 of my canning weekend! We love this Turkey Chili recipe so I thought I'd try canning some! Here is the recipe:. 1 lb ground turkey. 2 Tbsp olive oil. 1 onion, chopped. 28 oz diced tomatoes. 12 oz tomato sauce. 15 oz kidney or pinto beans. 2 tsp chili powder. Brown turkey in olive oil. Spoon off fat. Add onion and garlic and saute until soft, approximately 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer. Thursday, September 1, 2011. 1/2 cup chopped onion.

Friday, June 25, 2010. A day in the life. Today has been a WILD one! It's the day I ship signs out, and I am a little bit behind this week. I have spent all morning packing up signs, and basically leaving the kids to their own devices. Here's what we've dealt with this morning (so far):. Spilled cereal on the living room carpet (dry, thank goodness). A burp cloth sucked up the vacuum. Cereal down the heating vent. Spilled pink milk in the entryway. Matthew fell and bonked his head. After riding on several rides, we finally convinced her to try the snow, since our ticket window for the snow was only an hour long.We had to go fast.She went into the gated area to play in the snow.She wasn't impressed.The "snow" was more like ground up ice chips and she couldn't make a snow angel.She only stayed in there for about 3 minutes. Sweet Aimee was along for the ride.I love this baby! Who knew that the Lake Forest bird is the hummingbird? Colleen, Mike, Abbie and Aimee.
