Wednesday, 22 July 2009. Beziers - 22nd July 2009. We did LOADS of things today and are quite proud of ourselves actually for being super ace! Our first stop of the day was at the 9 Locks of Bezier on the Canal Du Midi. The locks are a set of 'Staircase' locks on the canal and it consists of 8 chambers that raise and lower boats up and down through the set. Friday, 1 January 2010. This New Year was spent in company with the regular crowd in Wales again. This time we were a little further into the Brecon Beacons just south of a village called Crai (Cray). Our barn for the week was situated at the Happy Horse Retirement Home.
