That last part just makes me mad, because I can’t even begin to fathom how much snow and salt damage my flip-flops endured during my 4 years in Champaign. The worst part about commuting during a DC “snowstorm” is that nobody knows how to drive in the snow. For one, people drive about half the speed limit, which obviously slows traffic.
