http://heasefamily.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Whit's End and Camp What-a-Nut. Focus on the Family is in Colorado Springs and they have a visitor's center. There are a lot of things to do. They have a room for 4 and under and Elise really likes to play there! Everything is super soft. It's called Camp What-a Nut! Elise likes climbing the bridge. They also have Whit's End Soda Shoppe. Elise and I had lunch there. Here's her cheese face! It was a great morning! I'm glad that it's so close and we can go as often as we want!

Growing Family: The Lesson Plans May Be Out the Window & Potty Training
http://heasefamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-lesson-plans-may-be-out-window.html
Thursday, August 6, 2015. The Lesson Plans May Be Out the Window and Potty Training. So, we’re 4 days and well, I think my lesson plans will be going out the window. As much as I’m saddened by the fact that I spent all that time making the lesson plans, I’m also proud proud of the reason why. The reason they are going out the window is because Sweetie Girl is asking to do more work! I mean seriously, this girl LOVES school! She’s really enjoying History, she gets that from The Hubs! I’m thinking I ...

Growing Family: July 2011
http://heasefamily.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 7, 2011. I am nine weeks today! I'm sure everyone that reads this knows, but it's been quite some time since I've blogged and thought I would include that bit of information. Eric has been on board since! I was surprised how quickly he changed his mind and got on board. Once he found out that it wasn't as hard and gross as he thought it would be, he was game. The CONS: These are NOT for overnight use! They leaked everywhere, I even had to wash Elise's pillow! Eric is ready to commit to clo...

Sunday, October 07, 2012. A sweet husband who is crazy like me. Tuesday, October 02, 2012. My heart is like a refrigerator. I think I'm ready to start writing again. This summer, I sure have struggled with bitterness. I cannot be the only one, so here are my prayers and thoughts on this topic. One of my favorite Tim Keller quotes:. Worry is not believing God will get it right, and bitterness is believing God got it wrong. Do you know how much time I can spend thinking about how life should be? See to it ...

Sunday, October 30, 2011. So many years ago, through a long and somehow unrelated story, our friends began calling blessings biscuits. If you've ever had a bo'berry biscuit, I think you'll understand the connection.). This fall has been a season of biscuits.or maybe growing in gratefulness. The Lord has been teaching me to be more thankful. It is not my natural disposition. So this post is a short update of biscuits. My dear brother is staying with us now! He has returned safe and sound (praise the Lord!

Growing Family: January 2015
http://heasefamily.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 19, 2015. Well, today we begin week 3 of Homeschooling. I think overall it’s been pretty successful. I’ve had to readjust and find what works best for Sweetie Girl. We’re still working through all the details and getting into a routine. I’m anxious to finish 100 Top Picks for Homeschool Curriculum and get some good curricula for her. It’s exhausting trying to figure it all out on my own. I’m excited to have something that tells me what to do and when to do it. She’s really excited! Here a...
