A Bloomer Blog: December 2013
http://abloomerblog.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 30. Madelyn - 5 months. I'd have to say these have been some of the best 5 months of my life enjoying my two babies. Sleep has been a little bit tricky recently. Just like last month, you are still getting used to rolling and then waking up and not being able to flip back over. You prefer to sleep on your side or stomach so this happens often. I try to soothe you back to sleep and put your pacifier in, but recently you have been eating 1-2 times per night. You love your brother! You stil...

A Bloomer Blog: March 2014
http://abloomerblog.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 4. Madelyn made her first trip to Texas in February to meet so many family and friends! I made the solo flight with the kids and everything went smoothly on the way there (the way back was a WAY different story). We had a busy first weekend with two showers for Taylor to celebrate Baby Boy Walker (see post. A get together for some friends and family to meet Madelyn. We stopped at the Frontiers of Flight Museum on our way back towards Plano and Jack LOVED it. He obviously has a love of ...

A Bloomer Blog: July 2013
http://abloomerblog.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 28. Baby Girl Update - 39 weeks. It’s been a stressful week in the Bloomer household, but we are closer to meeting our baby girl! When the doctor checked me on week 36 and 37, I wasn’t having too much progress. I had Jack at 37.5 weeks and hadn’t had too much progress previously so it didn’t bother me too much, but the Dr. also couldn’t feel the head. She ordered an ultrasound for my 38 week appointment, which was this past Tuesday. Wouldn’t I know? Well, I was wrong! I always imagined it wo...

A Bloomer Blog: August 2013
http://abloomerblog.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 30. Madelyn - 1 month. Just like her brother, I'm going to try and chronicle each month of the first year of her life. You have been a pretty great sleeper. Majority of the time I am able to put you down awake and you can put yourself. You are either completely asleep or wide awake and active. It's hard to try to keep you active when you know that you want to sleep. You have known your days and nights pretty much from the beginning which has been excellent. You eat every 2.5-3 hours ex...

A Bloomer Blog: May 2014

Friday, May 30. Madelyn - 10 months. We’ve got a firecracker on our hands. 8220;Miss Thang” is into EVERYTHING…and pretty much everything she shouldn’t be. I’ll go ahead and say her favorite things to play with are the outlets and cords and the other day I found her on top of the toilet. I wish her favorite things were the thousands of baby toys I have been trying to get her to play with. She is growing so fast and makes us smile a little bit bigger every day. You are still taking two naps a day. You wil...

A Bloomer Blog: October 2013
http://abloomerblog.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 30. Madelyn - 3 months. It's Madelyn's quarter birthday! She's changing from a newborn into a smiling baby and has been the perfect addition to our family. I managed to get her 3 months photos taken but don't be fooled because behind the scenes both of her brothers wanted to be in all the pictures, too! Night sleep has been pretty consistent. You normally go to sleep for the night around 9pm and will sleep anywhere from 4-8 hours. You move lots in your sleep and have started rotating.

Wednesday, July 30. Madelyn - 12 months! You just had your 1 year check-up and weigh 21lbs 9oz (76%) and are 29.5 inches tall (61%). Your hair has just kept growing and growing and is about 6 inches long. You have been sleeping great lately…napping & nighttime. You go to bed about 7:30 and will sleep a good 12 hours. You are still taking a quick nap in the morning and then about a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. You still love your wubbanub pacifiers! You are definitely active! You are my little eater!

http://abloomerblog.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30. Madelyn - 9 months. HUGE month in the life of Madelyn. Crawling everywhere, first teeth, pulling up on everything, finally starting to sleep really long stretches, and first family vacation to the beach. Time is flying by! We had your 9 month check-up and you are weighing in at 19lbs 10oz (75%) and 28.25 inches long (76%). You are wearing 9 and 12 month clothes & I just moved you up to size 4 diapers (although you could have stayed in size 3 a little while longer). You LOVE to eat.

A Bloomer Blog: November 2013
http://abloomerblog.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 30. Madelyn - 4 months. Right after you turned 3 months, your sleep schedule changed a bit. You started waking up a bit more because of the changes in your world, specifically rolling over. You have started rolling to your stomach and will sleep that way until you wake up and cannot roll yourself back over. You don’t necessarily need to eat when you wake up and cry, but someone has to console you for a minute before you fall back asleep. You rely much more on your pacifier than your br...

A Bloomer Blog: May 2013
http://abloomerblog.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 15. We are getting ready for a big weekend around our house. Jack is turning 2 and I can't believe it is here! It has really put this pregnancy into perspective and made me realize that this baby is coming soon and we should probably start getting things ready. Jack has been spending a lot of time outside with the beautiful spring weather and my Tennessee allergies have definitely kicked in. After all the hard work cleaning and coloring, he ended his day cuddled up with dad watching some tv.
